Enjoy a photo stop at Al Alam Palace, the ceremonial residence of Sultan Qaboos, flanked by the historic Al Jalali and Al Mirani Forts, which once guarded Muscat’s harbor. After a full day of sightseeing, return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Muscat.

After breakfast, depart Muscat and head toward the historic city of Nizwa, the former capital of Oman. En route, stop at the picturesque village of Fanja, renowned for its palm groves and traditional mud-brick houses. After checking into your accommodation, embark on an evening excursion with an expert guide to witness these majestic creatures as they lay their eggs on the beach.
