Upon landing in Muscat, the capital of Oman, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel for check-in and relaxation.
After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a journey through Oman’s modern charm intertwined with its deep-rooted traditions. Visit the magnificent Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, followed by a tour of Bait Al Zubair Museum to gain insight into the country’s rich heritage. Next, take a scenic drive along the stunning Corniche, stopping at the bustling Fish Market and the vibrant Mutrah Souq. Along the way, enjoy a photo stop at Al Alam Palace, the official residence of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos. Return to your hotel for the night.
Start your day with an early breakfast before heading toward the historic city of Nizwa, nestled along the rugged Hajar Mountains. Explore the 17th-century Nizwa Fort and wander through the lively souq, where you can find an array of handcrafted treasures, including rugs, pottery, and silver Bedouin jewelry. A short drive away, visit the beautifully preserved Jabreen Castle, renowned for its intricate wood carvings and stunning ceiling paintings. Overnight stay in Nizwa.
Leave Nizwa behind and venture into the vast expanse of Wahiba Sands, named after the Bani Wahiba tribe. Experience Oman’s desert wilderness at its finest, with opportunities for thrilling activities such as dune bashing, sandboarding, and camel riding. Spend the night under the stars in the luxurious 1000 Nights Camp, nestled deep within the desert.
After a traditional Bedouin breakfast at camp, set off for the coastal city of Sur. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy some leisure time before heading to Ras al Jinz Turtle Reserve. This protected area offers a rare opportunity to witness majestic Green Turtles nesting on the shores. If lucky, you may also see hatchlings making their first journey to the ocean. Overnight in Sur.
After breakfast, travel to Dibab to visit the breathtaking Bimmah Sinkhole, a natural wonder with crystal-clear turquoise waters. Enjoy a refreshing swim or simply admire the scenic surroundings. Later in the day, return to Muscat for an evening at leisure.
After breakfast, transfer to Muscat International Airport for your onward journey.
