Tour Route: Village of Fanja Photo Stop – Wahiba Sands Desert – Visit Bedouin Families – Wadi Bani Khalid – Muscat
Journey from Muscat to the stunning Wadi Bani Khalid, where you can swim in crystal-clear pools or explore hidden caves. After lunch, head to Wahiba Sands for an off-road desert adventure, visit a Bedouin house, and enjoy camel riding. Capture breathtaking dune views before returning to Muscat.
Departure from Muscat – Begin your journey early in the morning, heading toward the Sharqiya region. The first stop is the picturesque village of Fanja, a perfect spot for capturing scenic photos of the Omani countryside. Continue the drive to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of the most breathtaking wadis in Oman, known for its majestic canyon walls and crystal-clear pools. Here, you can swim in the cool freshwater, sunbathe, or even explore hidden caves within the wadi. Lunch will be served at a local Omani restaurant.
Head to the Wahiba Sands Desert, where you can experience off-road driving through towering dunes. Visit a traditional Bedouin house, where you may get the chance to enjoy Omani coffee and dates (depending on availability). You can also ride a camel and capture stunning desert photos. After this thrilling desert adventure, return to Muscat in the evening.
Notes: Ladies' swimwear for Wadi Bani Khalid: Women must wear a T-shirt and knee-length bottoms (bikinis are not allowed).
